We understand it can be intimidating to walk into a church for the first time, and our hope is for you and your family to feel comfortable.

Does it matter what I wear to church?

No, come as you are and be comfortable. God cares most about your heart.

Can my children attend worship with me?

Absolutely!  It is up to you to decide if you would prefer your young child(ren) to remain.  We offer two nurseries during worship.  The infant nursery is for children six weeks through two years old and is open throughout Sunday’s Bible study classes and worship.  The older nursery is available during worship for children three years old through kindergarten.  Both are upstairs in our children’s wing.  If a parent would like their child to participate in worship up until the Children’s Time and go to the nursery during the sermon, our nursery volunteer can assist in transporting him/her upstairs.  For children remaining for the entire worship service, there are cinch sacks available in the lobby with small activities for our little friends.  We simply ask that each sack be returned at the end of the worship service for another small friend to use.

What is involved in a corporate worship service?

Our worship is unique in that we draw from ancient, traditional and contemporary elements in our worship design.  There are some aspects of our worship that will seem familiar each week, while at the same time, there are components that change regularly.  Our guide in worship is to encounter the amazing love of God and hear and experience God’s word.

Will I be obligated to give money?

We do not expect our guests to give the church money.  We do pass an offering plate; making a contribution is always your choice.

What if I want to join the church as a member?

We’d love to have you!  You can respond at the time of invitation to our Pastor, one of our Elders, or Youth Minister, and they will help you become an official part of our church family.
